Patriots 28 Bills 6

First of all, I predicted 27-6 on my last post...damn I am good. Since 2001-2002 season, these are the Bills records before the start of November:
    1. 2001-2002 1-5
    2. 2002-2003 5-3 (but the first week in November we lost to NE 38-7)
    3. 2003-2004 4-4
    4. 2004-2005 2-5
    5. 2005-2006 3-5
    6. 2006-2007 2-5
This means that the Bills were legitimately out of playoff contention by November 4 of the last 6 years, that is pathetic.

SO what can we take out of today game? Hmm...where to begin?
  • Lets start with the quarterback...3 turnovers today, 8 turnovers in the past 3 games by hime alone...of our teams 14 turnovers this year, he has accounted for 12. But hey, at least he is taking care of the football. JP Losman got stripped by an official today when he was scrambling. I was JP's biggest advocate before the season, but this guy is NOT a winner, NOT a leader and CANNOT protect the football. He stares down his number one option. He cannot make decisions nearly fast enough which is why he has been sacked for -161 yds this season. That ranks dead last in the NFL. He has been sacked 19 times this season, 3rd last in the NFL. I am a believer in letting a young quarterback take his lumps and try and improve but when he is getting gradually worse you have to wonder. The team doesn't appear to play hard for him and his leadership abilities are completely absent. If he doesn't improve dramatically soon, it could be time for Craig Nall at Houston in week 10. Matt Schaub is a free agent this year, he is the best QB on the Falcons roster...Marv should think about picking him up.
  • I know the O-Line is bad, but the Texans arguably have the worst O-Line in the NFL and their quarterback has a 94.6 rating good for 5th best in the league coming into today and his team just polished off the allegedly good Jaguars. We need to sign a beast O lineman in free agency and I am duck- taping a 1 after the 7 on my Losman jersey and writing PETERS over Losman. At least I won't feel ashamed owning a Jason Peters jersey. By the way, I thought Aaron Merz had a decent game.
  • I thought our wide outs were good until today. Another costly penalty for Price, Evans dropped a TD, Reed is Reed, Davis was wide open but of course Losman missed him for a potential TD.
  • Willis McGahee is sick and will demand out of here by 08. The dude just flat out has no help. The Bills have ZERO threat of a passing game and Mike Gandy is his left tackle, MIKE FUCKING GANDY.
  • Royal had his best game to date. I actually noticed him.
  • How about our offensive play calling...we burned two very quality time outs today. First timeout in the first quarter to set up a direct snap to Reed. In the 2nd half, we call a time out on 4th down from our own like 20 yard line to set up a punt. How hard is it to set up a punt? It's not like there are different formations...I just don't get it.
  • Takeo is not the same. He seemed a little better today, but still he is an 81 in Madden tops.
  • Crowell stood as if he were in a daze when a fumble was sitting right in front of him. Figures, we sack Brady and he fumbles and the Patriots still get a 3 yard gain.
  • I don't know if the personal foul was called on London but diving at Brady when he was conceding a sack is one of the dumbest plays i have ever seen. Almost as dumb as the opener in '04 when he kicked the ball for a delay of game penalty on the Jags winning drive. By the way, for diving in there after Fletcher, Kelsay should have been benched for the rest of the game.
  • Clements still sucks, McGee still is worse.
  • Simpson will be good but gave up long td's in consecutive weeks on the same play and Whitner is good, probably the best player on our defense.
  • Tim Anderson finally lost his starting job. It's about time, this guy should not even be in the league.
  • Where was our special teams today? TERRIBLE, except Lindell. Nice signing of Tony Hargrove. I noticed him once today and he was fanning on a tackle that sent Maroney 80 yds on a kick return.
Well, the Bills are 1-12 in their last 13 against the Patriots. I can't see them beating them ever again. I don't think the players can see themselves beating them ever again. There is a reason why Jauron got fired by the Bears and didn't get hired by anyone for like 3 years. He is not a good head coach. When fans are chanting "let's go sabres" in the third quarter, you know the Bills have reached a lowpoint. In fact, in the 21 years I have been alive this is the lowest point the Bills have reached. No life, no plan, no leadership, no coaching=no playoffs for 7 straight years.
