Reaction to Week 8

1) This is the happiest I have been on a Tuesday since October 3rd. The Bills didn't lose this weekend and they actually have moved up on my power rankings since Arizona is officially terrible.

2) The Patriots game vs. Minnesota was a complete joke. NEW ENGLAND GETS ALL THE CALLS. I have never seen New England not get a call. This takes me back to 1998 when the Bills were playing in New England. Buffalo led 21-17 in the end of the 4th. First, on a 4th down I reckon, Bledsoe threw a pass and it was caught for a first down although clearly out of bounds and the ref said "just give it to him." Then, Henry Jones was flagged for pass interference on a hail mary. First and only time that has ever happened. Then, Bledsoe to Coated, ballgame. So this takes me back to yesterday. After Belifuck confinced the refs to change their mind and call the 3rd down completion to Wiggons incomplete, it was somehow not overturned. It was clearly a completion. The guy took like 6 steps. What is a "football move?" Then later, they called Darren Sharper for illegal contact when he layed a finger on a reciever and the pass landed 10 yards out of bounds. It just didn't make any sense.

3) Peyton Manning is good. He dissected the previous best defense in the NFL unlike anything I have ever seen. He wasn't playing the Bills or the Cardinals, this was the Broncos on the road on national TV. Denver was allowing 7.3 pts a game and only allowed 2 tds through 6 games. Manning threw 4. Darrent Williams was abused the whole 2nd half. I feel bad for the guy.

4) I was 4-10 in my picks versus the spread. If you are a betting man, take my picks into account. Look at them, pick all the opposites and you will make money every week.

5) Why was Bledsoe wearing eye black Sunday night. He and everyone else knew he wasn't playing.

6) Losman played his best game since week 4.
